Overview of Workshop:
For many students of Milton Erickson, MD, "Trust your unconscious" stands out as a key concept in understanding his effectiveness as a clinician. This talk will highlight several familiar and not so familiar hypnotic approaches to helping the clinician access and utilize their own unconscious wisdom in working with clients. These approaches, naturally, can be taught to clients to aid them in familiarizing themselves with their own unconscious resources.
-
Objectives of Workshop:
Attendees at the dinner presentation will learn about the general concept of trusting one's unconscious and the varied therapeutic benefits that stem from this. They will learn about and have a chance to practice in a group setting several hypnotic techniques which facilitate unconscious exploration.
