Professionals Eligible for Membership

• Persons holding doctoral degrees in Dentistry, Medicine, Psychology.
   

• Persons holding a master's degree in Social Work, as a Marriage and Family Counselor, In Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or in Speech-Language Pathology (who are licensed by the state/province in which they practice).
   

• Nurses holding master's degrees (who are licensed by the state/province in which they practice).
   

• As of 2005, the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH) and the Southern California Society of Clinical Hypnosis (SCSCH) also welcome membership applications from persons holding doctoral degrees in Chiropractic Medicine, Speech Language Pathology, and Podiatric Medicine (who are licensed by the state/province in which they practice).
   

• Students of these disciplines, enrolled in doctoral or master's level programs (who must submit proof of their status with their membership application).

Benefits of SCSCH Membership

• Continuing Education Credit: SCSCH is a C.E. provider for California Medical Association, California Dental Association, and California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
   

• Discounted Rates: SCSCH members are entitled to discounts offered for basic, advanced, and Saturday workshops.
   

• Dinner Meetings: Monthly meetings at a centrally located restaurant provide opportunities for informal networking with other professionals who utilize hypnosis, plus a one-hour presentation/demonstration on a relevant topic. 1.5 C.E. credits.
  
  

• Yearly Directory: Members may receive free listings giving their treatment specialties in a yearly directory that is distributed to the membership. The directory is a resource for those wishing to make referrals to Society members. At their option, members may also be listed in our online directory.
  
  

• Web Page: SCSCH members may choose to have their own customized web page on the SCSCH web site.
